Welcome to the AVC Build Customer Area. Here you can find practical information about quotations, orders, delivery, payments, warranties, returns and what to do if there is a problem with your order.
For project-specific information, always refer to your quotation, order confirmation and warranty documents, as specifications, delivery arrangements and warranty coverage can vary between products and projects.
Customer Service
How can I get a quotation?
Send AVC Build your approximate dimensions, photographs of the proposed installation area and your project location. Where relevant, also tell us whether you require a wall-mounted or freestanding structure and your preferred roof material. We can then review the project and prepare an initial proposal and quotation.
How do I contact AVC Build?
You can contact AVC Build by phone, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or through our contact page. For project enquiries, photographs and approximate dimensions are particularly helpful because they allow us to understand the proposed installation before preparing a quotation.
What are your customer service hours?
Our website can be used at any time. Telephone and direct customer support are normally available Monday to Friday during business hours. Messages sent outside business hours can still be submitted and will be reviewed when the team is available.
Can I speak to someone about the technical details of my project?
Yes. AVC Build can discuss structure type, roof materials, dimensions, fixing requirements, drainage, side walls, glazing and compatible accessories. Final technical requirements are confirmed for the individual project before production or installation.
What should I do if parts are missing or something appears damaged?
Contact AVC Build as soon as possible and provide your name, order or quotation reference where available, a clear description of the issue and photographs showing the affected item or missing component. Do not attempt to modify a damaged structural component before contacting us. We will review the information and advise on the appropriate next step.
Delivery
When will my order be delivered?
Delivery and installation times depend on whether the product is in stock or made to measure, the selected specification, manufacturing schedule, site preparation and installation requirements. Your expected lead time and delivery arrangements are confirmed as part of your quotation or order confirmation.
Do you deliver throughout Ireland?
AVC Build supplies projects throughout the Republic of Ireland. Standard delivery arrangements are confirmed with each order. Where unusual access, specialist transport or other non-standard requirements apply, these will be discussed before the order is confirmed.
Who is responsible for my order during delivery?
AVC Build remains responsible for supplying the goods in accordance with the agreed order until they are delivered to you under the agreed delivery arrangements. If there is visible transport damage, please tell the delivery team immediately where possible and contact AVC Build with photographs and details of the issue.
Is installation included with every product?
No. Made-to-measure projects can include professional installation where this is stated in the quotation. Products and kits purchased through the AVC Build shop may be supplied without installation. The exact scope of supply, delivery and installation is shown in your quotation or order confirmation.
What must be ready before installation?
The required site preparation depends on the structure. This may include suitable foundations, a prepared concrete base, clear access, finished floor levels or appropriate wall fixing areas. AVC Build will confirm the relevant requirements for your project before installation.
What happens if the site is not ready on the agreed installation date?
Contact AVC Build as soon as possible if foundations, access, paving or other agreed preparation will not be ready. Installation may need to be rescheduled where the site cannot safely accept the structure or where the agreed fixing conditions are not available.

Ordering
How do I order a made-to-measure aluminium structure?
Start by sending your approximate width, depth or projection, photographs of the proposed installation area and your location. AVC Build will review the requirements and prepare a proposal and quotation. Final measurements, specification, roof material, colour, accessories, fixing method and installation scope are confirmed before production.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Many AVC Build pergolas, carports, canopies, garden rooms and commercial structures are made to measure. Available dimensions and configuration depend on the selected structural system and project conditions.
Can I order supply only without installation?
Selected products and kits can be supplied without installation. Where an order is supply only, the customer is responsible for site preparation, assembly and installation unless otherwise agreed in writing. The supplied components and scope are confirmed before dispatch.
When does a made-to-measure order become final?
Before production starts, AVC Build confirms the agreed specification and order details. Customers should check dimensions, configuration, colour, roof material, accessories and other project details carefully before approving production.
Can I change my order after it has been confirmed?
Contact AVC Build immediately if you need to request a change. Changes may be possible before production begins. Once manufacture has started, changes may be restricted or may involve additional costs depending on the work already completed and materials already ordered or manufactured.
Can I cancel an order before production starts?
Where production has not started and no non-refundable project-specific costs have been incurred, AVC Build can normally cancel the order and arrange a full refund. If production or procurement of project-specific components has already started, the cancellation will be reviewed individually.
Returns, Faulty Goods & Warranty
This section summarises AVC Build’s customer process. It does not limit any rights you have under Irish consumer law.
What should I do if goods are damaged, faulty or not as ordered?
Contact AVC Build as soon as possible. Include your order details, a description of the issue and photographs where they can help us identify the problem. For large installed structures, do not dismantle or modify the affected part unless AVC Build has advised you to do so. We will review the issue and explain the available remedy.
Do I have consumer rights if a product is faulty?
Yes. Your statutory consumer rights are separate from any AVC Build warranty. Under Irish consumer law, goods must meet the agreed contract requirements. Depending on when a fault occurs and the circumstances, remedies can include a refund, repair, replacement or proportionate price reduction. A commercial warranty does not replace or reduce these statutory rights.
What happens if I report a faulty product within 30 days?
For consumer purchases covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2022, a customer who reports goods that do not conform to the sales contract within the applicable 30-day period may have a short-term right to terminate the contract and receive a refund. Where AVC Build is required to install the goods, the relevant period can run from completion of the installation. You may also choose an available repair or replacement where appropriate.
What happens if a fault is reported after the first 30 days?
Consumer rights continue after the first 30 days. Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate remedy may be a repair or replacement. Where these remedies are unavailable, unsuccessful or cannot be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, further remedies may include a price reduction or termination of the contract in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Who pays the cost of returning faulty goods?
Where goods are faulty and a return is required as part of a valid consumer remedy, AVC Build will arrange or cover the reasonable cost of returning the goods. For large or installed products, contact us before arranging transport or removal so that the appropriate collection, inspection or remedial work can be organised.
What if a faulty installed product needs to be removed?
Where consumer law requires repair or replacement of a faulty product that was professionally installed, the necessary removal and reinstallation will be handled in accordance with the applicable statutory remedy. Contact AVC Build before arranging third-party dismantling or repair.
Can I return an online purchase because I changed my mind?
For most standard goods bought online or by phone, consumers normally have a 14-day cooling-off period beginning when the goods are received. Certain exceptions apply. In particular, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not normally apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised. This exception does not remove your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
What is AVC Build’s cancellation policy for made-to-measure orders?
If you ask to cancel before production begins, AVC Build will normally arrange a full refund provided no separately agreed non-refundable project-specific costs have been incurred. Once production or procurement of made-to-measure components has started, cancellation requests are reviewed individually because the goods may have been manufactured specifically for your project. This policy does not affect your statutory rights where goods or services are faulty or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
Can standard, non-custom goods be returned after delivery?
Where an eligible standard product is covered by the statutory cooling-off period, contact AVC Build within the applicable cancellation period before returning it. We will provide return or collection instructions. Goods should be kept in reasonable condition while they are in your possession. Refunds are processed in accordance with the applicable consumer rules once the return requirements have been met.
What is covered by the AVC Build warranty?
Warranty coverage depends on the product and the written terms supplied with the order. Qualifying AVC Build installations can include a 10-year written warranty on the aluminium frame or structure. Where motors, controls or other components are included, their applicable warranty coverage is confirmed in the quotation, order or warranty documentation. Always refer to the documents supplied for your specific project.
What is not normally covered by a warranty?
Warranty cover does not normally apply to damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modification, failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions, normal wear and tear, or work carried out by third parties that affects the covered component. Exact exclusions depend on the written warranty supplied with the project.
Does the warranty replace my statutory consumer rights?
No. A warranty is additional to your statutory consumer rights. Your legal rights relating to faulty goods or services continue to apply independently of any commercial warranty supplied by AVC Build.
Need Help with an Order or Project?
Send us your order details, photographs where relevant and a short description of your question or issue. For new projects, include approximate dimensions and your county.
