Weather Protection for an Existing Commercial Outdoor Area
The client required a permanent roof over the existing outdoor space beside the shop. The objective was to provide overhead cover during periods of intense summer sunshine and to make the area better protected from rain and wind during colder months.
A made-to-measure wall-mounted aluminium canopy was designed to fit the available area and connect with the commercial building. The black frame provides a durable supporting structure, while the clear polycarbonate roof allows daylight to reach the covered space.
The side walls and other surrounding elements had already been installed by the client and were not part of AVC Build’s scope. Accurate measurements and careful installation were therefore important so the new canopy could be fitted without damaging or unnecessarily altering the existing enclosure.
The base was prepared before the canopy installation, and no unusual groundworks were required. The finished structure provides reliable overhead weather protection while preserving access to the shop and the existing layout of the outdoor area.
