AVC Build designed, supplied, delivered and professionally installed this made-to-measure commercial smoking shelter for Würth employees in Limerick in 2026. The compact freestanding structure combines a black aluminium frame, a clear polycarbonate roof and three full-height walls made from horizontal aluminium slats.
The front remains completely open for straightforward access and natural ventilation, while the roof and three surrounding walls provide additional protection from rain, wind and direct sunlight.

A Dedicated Covered Smoking Area for Würth Employees
Würth required a separate designated smoking area for employees at its Limerick premises. The objective was to create a compact outdoor shelter offering protection from rain, wind and direct sunlight together with a greater degree of privacy.
AVC Build developed a freestanding black aluminium shelter with a clear polycarbonate roof. Three full-height walls made from spaced horizontal aluminium slats protect the interior while retaining airflow through the gaps.
The front of the structure remains completely open. This provides straightforward access and additional natural ventilation while clearly distinguishing the smoking shelter from a fully enclosed outdoor room.
The existing concrete base had been prepared before installation. The four aluminium posts were securely anchored through their base plates, and rainwater is managed through the drainage system incorporated into the shelter.
AVC Build completed the design, made-to-measure supply, delivery and professional installation. The finished aluminium structure is supported by a 10-year structural warranty.
