AVC Build designed, supplied, delivered and professionally installed this made-to-measure wall-mounted aluminium canopy beside commercial premises in Naas, County Kildare, in 2026. The black aluminium frame and clear polycarbonate roof provide permanent overhead protection while working around the existing enclosed outdoor area.
The side walls and surrounding elements were already in place before the canopy installation and were retained as part of the finished space. The new structure was therefore designed around the existing layout rather than replacing the client’s enclosure.

Weather Protection for an Existing Commercial Outdoor Area
The client required a permanent roof over an existing outdoor area beside the commercial premises. The aim was to improve protection from strong sunshine and rainfall while making better use of a space that already had side enclosure in place.
A made-to-measure wall-mounted aluminium canopy was designed to fit the available area and connect directly with the building. The clear polycarbonate roof provides overhead protection while allowing daylight to continue reaching the space below.
The existing side walls and surrounding elements had already been installed by the client and were not part of AVC Build’s scope. The new canopy therefore had to be measured and installed around these features without unnecessarily altering the existing enclosure.
This approach allowed the client to retain the established layout while adding a permanent aluminium roof structure above it. Access to the premises and use of the existing outdoor area were maintained.
The existing base had already been prepared before installation. AVC Build completed the canopy design, made-to-measure supply, delivery and professional installation, with the aluminium structure covered by a 10-year structural warranty.
