AVC Build designed, supplied, delivered and installed this large made-to-measure aluminium carport at a residential property in Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare. The black frame supports an opaque trapezoidal sheet roof with fleece, while a Diamond-shaped aluminium side wall with a wood-effect finish provides additional screening. The substantial covered footprint was designed to accommodate four cars comfortably.

Four-Car Carport with Mixed Foundation Requirements
The homeowner required a broad permanent cover capable of sheltering four cars without restricting practical vehicle access. A made-to-measure beam and post layout was therefore designed for the available area beside the house, creating a substantial protected footprint while keeping the main access sides open.
The installation area did not provide one continuous foundation condition. Several support posts could be fixed to the prepared concrete base, while other positions required dedicated ground foundations. At those locations, the ground was opened and the posts were individually concreted into place.
Careful setting-out was required because both fixing methods had to support one aligned roof structure. The post positions and levels were coordinated before the main beams and roof frame were completed, allowing the large aluminium structure to follow the existing hardstanding and surrounding garden.
An opaque trapezoidal sheet roof with fleece provides continuous overhead protection across the full parking area. The integrated drainage system collects rainwater from the large roof surface and directs it through the designed drainage route rather than allowing uncontrolled runoff around the vehicles.
A Diamond-shaped aluminium wall with a wood-effect finish was installed at the exposed end of the carport. This creates a defined side screen and adds a contrasting visual detail to the black aluminium frame while leaving the other sides open for straightforward vehicle movement.
AVC Build completed the design, made-to-measure supply, delivery and professional installation. The completed aluminium carport is supported by a 10-year warranty.
