AVC Build designed, supplied, delivered and installed this made-to-measure wall-mounted aluminium carport at a residential property in Cavan in 2026. The structure provides covered parking for two vehicles and was designed with sufficient clearance for a taller van. Its black aluminium frame combines an opaque trapezoidal sheet roof, aluminium side panels and integrated LED lighting to create a practical sheltered parking area beside the house.

High-Clearance Covered Parking with Side Panels and LED Lighting
The homeowner required a substantial covered parking area capable of accommodating two vehicles. The structure also needed additional height so that a taller vehicle, such as a van, could be parked comfortably beneath the roof.
A wall-mounted configuration made efficient use of the available driveway beside the house. The connection between the new roof and the exterior wall was carefully detailed and sealed to create a controlled junction and prevent rainwater from entering directly between the carport and the building.
The existing foundation had already been prepared before installation. AVC Build installed the aluminium structure onto this suitable base, allowing the support posts to be positioned without additional foundation construction.
The black aluminium frame is combined with an opaque trapezoidal sheet roof and aluminium side panels. The side enclosure provides additional protection along the exposed edge while the open vehicle entrance maintains straightforward access for both standard cars and taller vehicles.
Integrated LED lighting provides useful illumination beneath the roof after dark and improves visibility around the parking area. This is particularly useful for a large two-vehicle structure where one conventional wall-mounted light may not illuminate the entire covered space evenly.
