A Made-to-Measure Canopy for an Existing Concrete Area
The homeowner wanted to cover the existing outdoor area beside the house. The new canopy had to fit between the building walls and the established boundary while preserving access to the exterior door, window and steps.
A wall-mounted aluminium configuration provided a practical solution for the available space. The structure follows the shape of the property and creates permanent overhead protection without requiring side walls or additional equipment.
The concrete foundation had already been prepared by the homeowner. U-profiles were securely fixed to the concrete with anchors, after which the canopy posts were installed into the profiles. This provided a stable fixing point for the made-to-measure aluminium frame.
The black profile complements the darker details of the house. An opaque trapezoidal metal sheet roof with white fleece backing provides durable weather protection, while the sloping roof directs rainwater away from the covered area.
